Android x86 developers announced the latest ported version of Android x86 5.1 Lollipop for x86/32bit machines, this is first RC1 release and includes number of interesting features, including support for 64bit processors: “The 5.1-rc1 release is based on the Android 5.1.1_r24. Known issues:

  • Uvesafb doesn’t work for x86_64.
  • Superuser doesn’t work for x86_64.
  • Suspend and resume doesn’t work on some devices.
  • No grub splash image.
