So, it appears my friend has done some tinkering with my router that I let him use.
Basically I wasn't using it so I felt like being nice and let him use it.
I have since regained control of it and he has flashed/removed the linksys firmware (without my permission) and has put your dd-wrt firmware on it.
Which is oddly enough the only reason I stumbled across this site or even found out of this open source firmware's existence. (I am not into networking as of now)
So through forum searching, google searching I have not seen an exact method to revert back to the original firmware.
Sadly, my friend has put off doing this for months probably because he cannot find an exact method of reverting back and he knows I am pissed + he doesn't want to brick my router.
Well now that the history and pointless story is over.
Is there a 'safe' known method for reverting back to the linksys WRT54GS v7.2 firmware??

There are often revert instructions in the wiki install for specific versions of routers. Check the install guid for a wrt54gs 7.2 and see if the revert instructions are there.
